Clients in Henley In Arden asked us to design a classic kitchen with a bit of drama. They were thrilled with their Forest Green units contrasted with white cararra solid surface and rich coloured LVT flooring. Mood lighting with dimmer switches and pendant lights add to this luxurious finished room.

When we design a kitchen island it is important to understand how the client wants to use the room. Some clients want a kitchen island which incorporates a sink, or hob while some clients prefer to leave the island empty giving them space to cook or bake. In this case our client really wanted us to incorporate an under-mounted sink. Within the kitchen design we would always advise having drainer grooves in the composite worktop to allow for drainage. A swans neck tap in brushed steel finishes the look. Kitchen islands are always useful in provide extra storage within the room in addition the all important pull out storage can be hidden in the tall pantry units. Above the range cooker we built a bespoke mantel and used salmon coloured tiles laid in a herringbone pattern to really finish this dramatic look.
